Hey! I’m Sam and welcome to Fetch & Thrive!

I have been lucky to be a part of Guide Dogs for over 15 years where I have worked as a puppy development advisor. I’ve seen firsthand how important enrichment is for dogs, whether they’re puppies, working dogs, or family pets.

I started Fetch & Thrive because I’m passionate about canine wellbeing and how important play and downtime is for a dog. As a dog trainer I want to make it easier for owners to find tried-and-tested toys that genuinely benefit their dogs.

Fetch & Thrive is not just a dog toy store but also a go-to online resource if you want to know why your puppy has started barking or what can you do if your dog is fearful of fireworks. I work closely with trusted professionals to ensure everything we share is science-based and we refer to the latest research to back up what is best for your dog.

Whether you’re looking for ways to keep your bright border collie mentally challenged, or help your older labrador get some much needed sniffing at home whilst they recover from surgery, as a small UK-based business who cares about dogs, I’m here to help.

In my spare time I am usually attempting to navigate the Kent countryside on my horse Echo and pottering about on my allotment. During the week I can be found coaching amazing volunteers with their guide dog pups in training and running my own private puppy classes during the evenings in between some much needed coffee breaks to recharge!
